Create a Free Business Email account with just your Gmail ID
Friends, if you have a website, blog or you do a small business & still you are using a normal Email ID such as firstname.lastname@example.org instead of a professional business Email ID like this email@example.com it seems quite unprofessional. And If you want to create a free business Email account Id for your blog or website like firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com & firstname.lastname@example.org etc. that looks quite more professional.
So in this article we are going to tell you a step by step guide with pictures How can you create a free business Email account ID for free? After following all these below steps instead of your normal Gmail ID like this one email@example.com you’ll be able to use an Email ID like firstname.lastname@example.org which look a lot more professional. After creating a Business Email with this unique way you will be able to access your Business Email ID just from your Gmail ID.
Like if I talk about the business Email of my other blog bknsolution.com, then this is email@example.com. Which shows a brand name itself. A Business Email ID is also helpful in promoting a website or business. Well, when you got a domain for your website or blog, & after if you try to create Business Email ID on that domain in this condition you need to pay about 5 dollar for a month. But you don’t worry there is no need to pay for making a business Email ID because today we are going to tell you a unique way through which you can create a Free Business Email account ID for lifetime.
What does a Business Email ID mean?
A business email is an email that has your name and the name of your business in it. An email ID that is associated with your domain name such as firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com Here gmail.com and Yahoo.com are both domain names. The email ID we create for our personal use is something like this. But in a business email ID like firstname.lastname@example.org, here bknsolution.com is the domain name for a website. So the email ID that keeps a domain name of your website is called a Business Email ID.
What we need for a Business Email?
For the way in which we are going to tell you about create a free Business Email account ID, you must have a Gmail ID and a domain name taken from Go daddy. This is an easy process, If you do not have a domain yet, quickly get your domain from GoDaddy,
To create a Free Business Email account ID, you have to follow all the steps given below carefully: –
- Go to your domain name provider Godaddy.com,
- Sign in with your Username and Password. As you can see in image-1.
After signing in, You have to Create an Email Forward in Godaddy. By creating the forward you’ll be able to forward all the mails coming to your Business E-mail to your Gmail inbox. So let’s create a forward:-
STEP-2: – After signing in, you come to the Dashboard of My Products, ie your Domain Name, Web Hosting. Now after scrolling a little downwards here,
click on Additional Products and then next to Email Forwarding click on redeem. As shown in above image-2.STEP-3: – After clicking on the redeem, something like this comes out to you as you can see in below image-3. Here click on Create Forward in the right side.STEP-4: – After clicking Create Forward, you get a pop-up like image-4. Now in this field of Forward this email address enter the business email address that you want to create. It can be email@example.com Such as
- firstname.lastname@example.org etc.
Under the column with to these email addresses, Enter the Gmail ID that you want to connect with your Business Email ID. You can easily understand this with the help of image-4 and image-4a. Now after filling all this information click on Create.
Now you have to check that your DNS Settings are correctly working or not in order to ensure that the emails are being forwarding or not? You need to make sure that your DNS setup is correctly. For checking DNS settings let’s go to Step-5:-
STEP-5: – The Business Email ID you create is added. As you can see in image-5. Now click on Tools and then click on Server Settings. As you can see in image-6.STEP-6: – After clicking on Server Settings, this kind of pop-up comes out as you can see in image-7. Here you can see, under MX Records, there is a Error Show with Red Color. No MX records were found. To fix this error, Now you need to add MX records to your domain name’s DNS settings.STEP-7: – So since I’ve got my hosting with Godaddy i’m going to change the DNS there But if you’re using a different hosting provider then you need to change your DNS from there. To add MX records just go to Godaddy.com with taking a new tab separately. Here now click on your profile in the top right corner & then click on My Products. As shown in image-8.
After clicking on My Products, you come to the My Product’s Dashboard, which means that your Domain Name, Web Hosting. Now according to image-9, just click on the DNS exactly in front of your domain name.STEP-8: – After clicking on the DNS, some such details come out in front of you as you can see in image-10.
Add first Entry:
- Click on ADD
- Click on Select
- Now select MX. According to image-11
After this, Some kind of interface comes out to you. Here you have to fill some details as you can see in image-12.
Just put @ below the host.
Now go back to the old tab and copy the text “smtp.secureserver.net” in front of A according to step-6 / image-7. Come back again & paste it under Points to.
Add second Entry:
- Click on ADD
- Click on Select
- Now select MX. According to image-13 and 14.
Now here you need to add some more details again like STEP-8. As you can see in image-12.
Just put @ below the host.
Now again go back to the old tab and copy the text “mailstore1.secureserver.net” in front of B according to step-6 / image-7. Come back again & paste it under Points to.
In Priority, after adding 10 as per Step-6 / image-7, click on Save.According to image-16 you can see we have done both the entries and now come back in Create forwarding tab & refresh the tab, according to the image-17, where there was an Error Showing in Red Color under MX Records in the first step-6 / image-7 ” But here showing “Your MX records are correct” instead of “No MX records were found.” which means, we have accurately ADD details of MX records in DNS settings of our domain name.
Now if someone mails you to your Business Email ID that you just created, then you will receive it on your same Gmail ID that you add to your business email ID in STEP-4 / image-4. This means that you can fully access your Business Email via your Gmail ID.
So now let’s test that our mails are being forwarded properly or not?You can see in image-18 when I mailed my Business Email ID to email@example.com with my second Gmail ID then I have seen my Business Email ID in ” TO “ after receiving the mail according to image-19. But on the other side, according to image-20, when I responded to that mail, there was not my Business Email ID Showing. It’s showing only my gmail ID firstname.lastname@example.org in “From” section.
That means when someone mails me on my Business Email ID, then I receive it on my Gmail ID but when I reply to that mail or do a new mail, in that case my business email ID doesn’t Show. it is still go from my Gmail address which we don’t want. We want our Emails should be send from Contact@bknsolution.com.
Now to fix this problem & to send Emails from our Domain we need an SMTP server. When you reply to a mail or even write a new mail, it’s to be received the name of your Business Email ID, for this you need to connect your Gmail ID and Domain Name to an SMTP server. So i’m going to tell to get a free server from a website called SMTP2GO.
How to Setup a Business Email account on SMTP2GO ?
STEP-10: – To connect to SMTP Server,
- Open a new tab & go to www.google.com
- Here just type SMTP2GO in the search bar and open it by clicking on the first link. As shown in image-21.
Now the website of smtp2go.com opens, on whose homepage you get 2 options: –

- Try SMTP2GO Free
You have to click on Try SMTP2GO Free.STEP-11: – After this you get a page called “Start your free account”. You have to register here first. After entering your name, email address and password, you have to click on Sign Up. As you can see in the image-23.
When you click on Sign Up, you receive a notification like this: Check your inbox. By the means a mail sent from SMTP2GO to your Gmail ID now you have to open your Gmail and click on activate account. As you can see in image-24 or 25.STEP-12: – After clicking Activate, something like this opens in front of you, as you can see in image-26. Now your SMTP account is ready now. So now let’s go to the final step which is add this account to Gmail. By doing this we’ll be able to send emails from the Business Email address using Gmail.
For adding SMTP account to Gmail just go to the tab with your Gmail ID according to image-27 and then click the gear icon and select Settings.
According to image-28 just go to Account and import & click on Add another email address in front of Send mail as.STEP-13: – Now a pop-up comes out in front of you as you can see in image-29. Here you have to enter from name which you want in your email. Just write a name for your Business Email in front of the name this is the name which will appear when someone receives a mail from you. Like I have given the name BKN Solution Support. After entering the name, you need to enter your Business Email ID in front of Email address here you need to enter the same email ID which you used by the setting up the email forward so for me it’s email@example.com and click Next Step.
Once you click on the next step, a pop-up comes out as you can see in image-30. Now we need to enter the username & password from SMTP2GO. just go to the SMTP2GO tab image-26, you have to copy the SMPT username and SMTP password one by one, and after copying, come back to the tab with gmail and SMPT Username will be past in front of Username and the SMTP Password will be past in front of Password.
Now to get the SMTP Server details again go back to the SMTP2GO tab image-26 and click Finish.
On clicking Finish, something like this comes out in front of you as you can see in image-31. Just copy the SMTP server address from here & go back to the tab with gmail and paste this address in front of the SMPT server. In Port just select 25 and click on Add Account. You can see image-30A as a reference for more information.STEP-14: – Now Gmail will sent a Confirmation code to your business email as you can see in image-32. After copying the Confirmation code from here, paste it and click Verify.
Now we have done. After clicking Verify, you can see my Business Email ID has been added. Now if you want you can set this address as a default from addresses So if you want as a default address just click Make default on the right side of your Business Email ID. Now all your emails will be sent from your Business Email.
So now let’s test it by sending an email from our business email and see if we’re able to receive it. After following all these steps properly, now when you mail or reply to someone with your Business Email ID, the person will see your business email id as well as via smtpservice.net. As you can see in image-35 when I mailed my business email ID to my second Gmail ID, you can see my Business Email ID via firstname.lastname@example.org via smtpservice.net is also writing . Which is not perfect at all for a website’s Business Email ID. How to remove this text (via smtpservice.net) now, so that when someone receives the mail, only our Business Email ID will show up there and no Extra Text is associated with it. For fixing this you need to follow some more steps.
How to remove “sent via” message form a Business Email ?
STEP-15: – So in order to remove this message go to SMTP2GO tab, As you can see in the image-36.
- Click on Settings
- Now click on Sender Domains
- Here click on Add a Domain
image-37: – After clicking on Add a Domain, you have an option to add your domain name. Type your domain name here and click Add Domain.So in order to remove that “sent via” message in gmail you need to give access to SMTP2GO to use your domain. For doing that you need to add above image-38 A,B,C or D these entries to your DNS page. So since our DNS provider is Godaddy let’s go there.
STEP-16: – Now something like this comes out to you as you can see in image-38. As of now just leave this tab like this and go to the tab of Godaddy. Here click on DNS setting of Domain Name.STEP-17: – Here you have to do two more entries as we did earlier in STEP-8 and 9. Just scroll down a bit here. As you can see in the image-39.
Add first Entry:
- Click on ADD
- Click on Select
- Now select TXT. According to image-40.
After this some kind of interface comes out to you. Here you have to fill some details as you can see in image-41.
Image-38: Now again go to the SMTP2GO tab and copy the red entry from first Entry (A).
Image-41: After this, go back to the DNS settings page and paste it below the host.
Image-38: Go to SMTP2GO tab again & copy the red entry in the second Entry (B).
- Click on ADD
- Click on Select
- Now select CNAME. According to image-43.
Now again some kind of interface comes out to you. Here you have to fill again some details and fill as you can see in image-44.
Image-38: Now again go to the SMTP2GO tab and copy the red entry from first Entry (C).
Image-44: After this, go back to the DNS settings page and paste it below the host.
Image-38: Go to SMTP2GO tab again & copy the red entry in the second Entry (D).
Image-44: After this, Again go back to the DNS settings page and paste it below the Points to. Now after completing all these entries go to the SMTP2GO tab image-38 once. Go little scroll down & click on Verify, if the right-hand mark is visible in green color on the right side of TXT and CNAME like image-45, where the first in image-38 was showing an error mark with the red color at just right of the TXT and CNAME. So it means that all of our Entries have been ADD correctly.Now when I mail to my second email ID from my Business Email ID, there is no extra text is showing via smtpservice.net along with Contact@bknsolution.com as you can see in image-46, You can seen the before & after difference between the image-46 & 46A.
This means, Finally we have now successfully created a Professional Business Email ID. So friends, if you also want to create a free Business Email account ID with your Domain Name, after following all these steps very carefully, you can easily create a free Business Email account ID for yourself.
